Swedish massage
What’s it all about?
It’s a classic Swedish massage. It is precisely that.
What’s the best way to do it?
A Swedish massage is for everyone, even if you aren’t looking to be more relaxed and improve your circulation.
What can I expect?
There are five massage techniques: effleurage (rubbing the muscles in slow, gliding movements that push blood towards the heart), tapping, kneading, and tapping. It’s the perfect combination of relaxation and effleurage. You can use softer strokes for the delicate parts of your body, while stronger strokes are used on thicker muscles. It’s perfect for relaxing with essential oils that suit your skin type and soothing music.
You can choose to have a complete body massage or just one area. The back, neck, and shoulders are the most requested.

This is just a small piece of history. Named after a Swedish physiologist who developed “Medical Gymnastics” in the early 19 th century.
A study published in The New York Times showed that people who had a 45-minute Swedish Massage experienced a significant drop in stress hormone cortisol levels and increased white blood cells, which are part of our immune system.
Deep tissue massage
What’s it all about?
This technique uses concentrated pressure to target problematic areas. It is an intensified version of a Swedish Massage.
What’s the best way to do it?
Are you suffering from chronic tensions and aches that a Swedish doctor can’t help? This might be the right thing for you.
It focuses on one specific problem, such as chronic pain or injury rehabilitation to reduce pain and increase mobility. Some examples include:
- Carpel tunnel syndrome
- Tennis elbow
- Whiplash
- Repetitive strain injury
- Sciatica
- Sports injuries
- Recovery after a fall
- Muscle spasms or tension
- Fibromyalgia
What can I expect?
To break down the stiff tissue that is causing the pain, inflammation, and restricted movement, we may use our elbows, forearms and fingertips, and our fingertips and hands. You should expect some discomfort as a result. This is due to scar tissue being removed, knots being untied, and layers of the muscle being moved back in the right places. Although it sounds terrible, this is what you should do. We will also be using deep pressure throughout the exercise, but we will also use softer strokes.
Deep tissue is exactly what it sounds like. It gets down to the tissue’s deepest layers to realign them. What is the result? The result? A positive impact on your bones, joints, and muscles.
Some people may feel tenderness or stiffness afterward, but it shouldn’t last more than a few days. This can be relieved by stretching, applying ice to the affected areas, and taking a warm bath.

It has been shown that deep tissue is more effective than any other treatment options, including exercise, medication, and diet. It relaxes muscles and increases blood flow, leading to better overall health.
Head massage
What’s it all about?
This ancient therapy technique results from medicine and is very popular in the West. Its simplicity and flexibility are partly responsible for this popularity. Although the name refers to the head, the head massage treats pressure points in the neck and shoulders. It incorporates the three Chakras, mind, body, and spirit, located in the throat, crown, and brow.
What’s the best way to do it?
Do your scalp, hair, and head need some tender loving care? Then absolutely! These are some of the benefits:
- The increase in nutrients and oxygen delivered to the hair follicles positively affects hair health and growth.
- Reduced Headache

- Better sleep
What can I expect?
A series of circular movements and strokes, as well as stretches. It doesn’t require any equipment. This makes it very easy to use and low-maintenance.
Head massage is a safe and gentle therapy. It starts with the shoulders and upper back and then moves to the scalp. The massage then moves up to the forehead and around your eyes. It is then finished with a rich, ultra-nourishing oil for hair.

This alternative medicine system, Ayurveda, is the source of the head massage. It is based on the belief that mind and body are interconnected. A head massage can improve your physical well-being, but it can also boost your mental health. It is a primary method of stress management.
It was traditionally used for weddings and births, especially mothers to their daughters.
Reflexology
W What is it?
Reflexology is a safe and non-invasive complementary touch therapy with roots in Ancient Egypt and China. It promotes deep relaxation and well-being. Reflexology is based upon the idea that the feet are a microsystem of the entire body. This means that touching different points will affect other areas that have been affected by blocked energy pathways.
It is possible to have different theories about how it works. It could be attributed to nerve impulse, the idea that pressing one spot sends a signal through the nervous system to the brain to affect a similar point. Some believe it blocks energy peaks in the same way as acupuncture.
What’s the best way to do it?
All ages can use Reflexology.
- Reducing stress
- Balance restoration
- Improved sleep
- Relaxation
- Enhance your mood
- Reduce your pain
- Hormonal issues
- Sports injuries
- Chronic illness
- Immune system booster
You can use Reflexology to treat specific problems, maintain that problem, or relax stress-relievers.
What can I expect?
While there may be some discomfort, Reflexology is generally a relaxing experience. We’ll use certain finger and thumb techniques to apply pressure on various points of your feet using Reflexology. Although you may feel lethargic or nauseous, this will not last very long. You may feel your feet a little tender afterward.
Any other?
Reflexology is individual treatment. We’ll tailor it to your needs, considering any psychological or physical issues.
